Tom serves as President & Chief Executive Officer of Money360, responsible for leading the company’s sales team, driving strategic growth and broadening its origination network.
Tom is a proven and tenured commercial real estate executive with over 30 years of experience in commercial mortgage banking, lending and related capital markets activities. His previous roles have included President & Chief Operating Officer at ARA Finance, an ARA / Walker & Dunlop joint venture mortgage financing firm, where he was responsible for developing the firm’s national multifamily financing platform; Chairman & CEO at Cushman & Wakefield Sonnenblick Goldman, where he established a more robust and diversified real estate investment and financial advisory platform in the U.S.; and President of GMAC Commercial Mortgage & CEO of North American Operations, where he oversaw real estate capital markets and lending activities for North America, including seven lending platforms and national mortgage banking origination.
Tom holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Commerce degree from Rider University and earned his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
CHIEF CREDIT OFFICER / CO-FOUNDER
Brett serves as Chief Credit Officer and Co-founder of Money360, responsible for transaction due diligence and risk management.
Brett has 30 years of capital markets experience in the structuring and financing of commercial real estate. Prior to joining Money360, Brett founded European Tax Credit Corporation (ETCCorp) in 1999, a financial services company specializing in the origination and development of commercial real estate lending programs utilizing capital market funding sources and non-traditional banking facilities.
Prior to organizing ETCCorp, Brett worked for over 15 years with various private equity and Wall Street groups specializing in equity and fixed-income products. During this time Brett co-originated a lending subsidiary that directed the tax-exempt lending platform of Nomura Asset Capital Corporation’s commercial real estate conduit CMBS/CDO business, one of the largest lenders in the U.S. commercial real estate market at the time.
Brett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.
GENERAL COUNSEL
Alex Vellandi serves as General Counsel of Money360, responsible for all legal aspects of Money360’s corporate and business operations. With over $15 billion in transactions and 17 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance, Alex draws from his extensive business background to provide measured and practical counsel to Money360’s senior executives and board of directors.
Alex has served as an attorney with two of California’s pre-eminent law firms and as in-house counsel at leading real estate investment and financial services companies. In private practice, he has represented large corporations, developers, landlords, tenants, real property purchasers, borrowers and secured lenders on a wide range of real estate related transactions in various states.
With a B.A. from the University of California at Irvine, Alex earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of California, is a California licensed real estate broker and serves in a leadership capacity for various charities and professional organizations.
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Jym serves as the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for the technology strategy and implementation at Money360. He has over 18 years of experience developing software and IT solutions for the financial industry.
Prior to joining Money360, he served as the Vice President of Software Development for Genpact Mortgage Services, a division of Genpact LLC., where he designed and led development of the Genpact Lending Solution (GLS) platform. The platform enabled Genpact to streamline and enhance mortgage processes for industry leaders such as E*Trade® Mortgage, USAA®, Nationstar® Mortgage, Citibank®, and many others. He also designed and oversaw development of Genpact Document Solutions (GDS) – a document management and workflow system for MERS® (Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems) that provides significant cost savings to MERS through workflow and delivery automations for the millions of documents MERS handles each year.
Jym started his career with MoneyLine Lending Services, where he designed and developed MoneyLine’s proprietary mortgage origination and workflow system called Loan Officer Live, which has since been adopted by 65 financial intuitions throughout the United States.
Throughout his career, Jym has been on the front lines of designing and developing advanced workflow and orchestration systems for lending businesses that allow for transparent, efficient, and secure operations.
Jym earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
